Acqua di Sestri Levante Venti Persi Eau de Parfum is a unisex citrus perfume. The name "Venti Persi" (Lost Winds) was inspired by the old Sestrini fishermen who used it at a time, when the technological means we use today did not yet exist. Every day around five o'clock in the afternoon, the fishermen would gather in one of the carruggi (alleyways) leading to the Baia del Silenzio to watch the weather and make forecasts about the wind and the sea and decide whether to go out lampara (night fishing for anchovies), trying to see if the winds might get stronger and the sea might rise. The discussions that ensued, heated and colourful, became even more so if the wind had no clear direction. After much discussion and the naming of improbable winds, which perhaps only existed in those days, such as 'fuanolli' and 'baranolli', one of them would bring everyone to an agreement by saying: "They are lost winds". Today, we really miss those fishermen, the echo of their voices in the carruggi, their animated discussions in narrow dialect and their knowledge...Venti Persi Eau de Parfum is dedicated to them, to all the fishermen of Sestri Levante who are as lost as the winds.
