Burning rocks, trees petrified by summer and a white, translucent, regal, mythical sap: Encens Roi is a tribute to incense, the most excellent of the offerings burnt by mankind for almost five millennia. Drawing on the history and legends of this mother of resins, Encens Roi is transformed into an allegory of the natural raw material, combining the sharpness of Olibanum with the creaminess of white cocoa on an ascetic frame provided by oud and saffron. Like a modern prayer, Encens Roi captures the essence of the gods and transforms it into the scent of princes and monks. Under the fruity and herbaceous rays of Roman chamomile, the mineral sparkle of olibanum meets the woody and almost salty freshness of schinus molle, evoking the crackling bark of incense trees and their resin. Mixed with cedarwood, saffron reveals the richness of its nuances of leather and tobacco. Its temperament is illuminated by the bright red of allspice berries. Between sacred and profane, the initiatory depth of oud is enriched by the balsamic warmth of cistus. An overdose of white cocoa and vanilla finally delivers a slight gourmand trace to the trail of Encens Roi Eau de Parfum. The extraction technique whith CO2 of some of the elements in Encens Roi is innovative and earth-friendly: it produces no greenhouse gases or pollutants.
